Daughters of Zion / Bat Tzion

Genesis 12:3 says "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” A group of our women felt led by the Lord to start a group that meets once a month to outwork this promise.

Bat Tzion has a heart to reach women of different ethnic groups with the message of God's love, through His Son Jesus Christ. The group uses their meeting as:

• a time to pray for Israel & the Middle East

• a time to worship the Lord & to grow & learn together about the things of the Lord through Bible study & corporate prayer

• a safe place to bring women of all nationalities who are searching for the truth.

This group meets once a month on Fridays, from 10am. Many of the women stay on after the morning meeting for a time of fellowship over a shared lunch.

Bat Tzion also organises special outreach & encouragement events for women, these might involve a special evening out for a meal and to hear powerful testimonies with the opportunity to fellowship and meet new women.

Rise ‘n Go

The vision for the Rise ‘n Go Group is to develop our relationship with Jesus, with one another & to reach out with Jesus' love to our community. The Bible clearly tells us that we are to love, encourage, prefer, consider & pray for one another & to bear one another's burdens. We are to: rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. There are many needs in our local community from: families struggling to make ends meet - to older people who are house bound & lonely. We visit people in the community around us, usually taking them a ‘Blessings Basket’ of goodies. Men, women & children, are more than welcome to become part of the Rise 'n Go Visiting Team. We usually get together two Wednesdays a month from 10am, in Albany. We take the opportunity to pray together & encourage one another in the Lord, as well as visit those who need that gift of fellowship & encouragement.
