Prayer & INTERCESSION is a primary focus at Jesus First. We have a committed team of prayer warriors & intercessors whom we honour & whose ministry we value.
Powerhouse Prayer is the primary prayer meeting for our Church family. This meeting is held in the
Church Office each Monday afternoon at 1.00pm.
We have a specific prayer focus for:
• Israel: for the peace of Jerusalem & that God would have His way in that nation.
• Our Nation & the Church in our Nation
• Release of Healing: for those needing powerful & sovereign healing.
• The Prodigals: the children of those in the Church currently away from the Lord.
• Wandering Christians: there are an estimated 30,000 born again Christians in Auckland wandering in
the wilderness.
• The Unsaved: the fields are white now unto harvest. We are praying for 1,000,000 souls to
be saved in New Zealand & to be planted in Christ-centred, spirit filled, Bible believing Churches.
• Our Sunday Services: for God to move in power by His Spirit.
• Our Children’s & Youth Ministries: for the children, the youth & their teachers.
• Our Church Leaders: to hear the voice of the Head of the Church that we might build with Him,
according to His plans for His Church.
A very effective prayer ministry in the Church is our Prayer Link which we established as a means of alerting prayer warriors & intercessors to specific, often urgent, prayer needs for people within & outside of our fellowship. If you would like to be a “link in a chain” of prayer warriors or if you have a specific or urgent prayer need, please

EVANGELISM INTERCESSORS: We meet every Tuesday at 1.30pm, in a home in Oteha, Albany. This group focus
their prayers
• on 'outreach' contacts and opportunities.
• New converts
• Any occasion where people are involved in outreach ministry.
• Prison ministry, Bible in Schools, church programmes leading to life changes!
• We try to keep an eye on world events also and pray for changes that would
exalt the Lord and enthrone Him.
The meeting is open to young and old male and female.
We also meet for prayer 20 minutes prior to each of our Sunday meetings. These
are powerful times of breaking through in prayer & in praying for those ministering in the meetings.
